"...The day where 'bunkers' and 'Suez' can be tapped into a terminal to
produce within minutes, an agreed enquiry, stem and price is unlikely
to be with us very soon. But if your competitor is using IT (Informa-
tion Technology) when you are not, that is a reason to worry..."
QUOTE FROM BUNKER NEWS* August 1999 Cover Article "Will Tomorrow's
Business Be Conducted on the Internet?"
With articles like these you may wonder, "When will the day come?
When will I be able to go on-line and find at anytime, from anywhere,
the bunker suppliers that service the ports my company and ships
utilize?"
Maritime Global Net's answer is TODAY.
Gone are the days that necessitate the buying of directories to find
which bunker suppliers service what ports. Gone are the days of
calling, faxing or writing for bunker quotations. Gone are the days
of visiting bunker supplier or port specific web sites.
At any moment in the day from any location in the world you can travel
to ports such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Rotterdam, Amsterdam,
New York and Tokyo via the MGN site and make multiple Bunker RFQs
(Requests For Quotation) by filling out a single web form. Your message
is sent out instantaneously and simultaneously to all suppliers in the
port equipped with e-mail addresses, saving your company time, energy
and communications costs.
